  • January 11th (Saturday) 9:00AM – 2:00PM– 2nd Annual Eyes Wide Shut Conference (sponsored by EmPOWERMENT partnering with KCAHT) at Bakersfield College's Renegade Event Center, 1801 Panorama Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93305.
  • January 15th (Wednesday) 1:00PM - 5:00PM – Combating Human Trafficking Community Outreach Event on Gateway Plaza at the corner of 3rd St. and Union Ave. (sponsored by KCAHT and Bakersfield Police Department)
  • January 28th (Tuesday) – Author and Lived Experience Expert Jenna McKaye – 10:00AM – 12:00PM (for professionals) and from 6:00PM - 8:00PM (for community members) at The Summit, 7100 Auburn St, Bakersfield, CA 93306, across from Canyon Hills, with a book reading, Q & A, and book signing.
